The Men's Boulder & Lead competition is part of the Combined event in Olympic sport climbing, which includes three disciplines: Speed, Boulder, and Lead. The semifinal focuses on the Boulder and Lead disciplines.
Boulder:
Climbers attempt to solve a series of fixed routes (called problems) on a low-height wall without ropes within a specified time.
