Since 1991, the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation has been providing summer activities and a safe haven for underserved children in the community during the summer months.
The free, eight-week camp serves more than 250 children annually who enjoy complimentary uniforms, lunch and snacks, as well as daily sports activities and weekly field trips that make physical activity an integral part of their lives.
Thanks to funds generated through Carnaval Miami, more than 4,000 children, ages 7-13, have taken part in the Healthy Kids Summer Camp.

LUMMUS PARK - 404 N.W. 3 COURT
Bordering the Miami River, Lummus Park is a beautiful historical park in the heart of Downtown Miami. As good as the program is for the children, it provides relief to the parents & guardians who may leave to work leaving their child in a safe place. This program also teaches families to make sports and physical activities an integral part of their lives; the lasting visible change will come in making kids healthier and happier.
